Summarized Sahih al-Bukhari

About this book

Sahih al-Bukhari is regarded by Muslims as the most authentic book after the Quran. The full collection runs to many volumes, with numerous hadith repeated under different chapters, which can make it daunting for new readers.

This Summarized edition, based on the abridgment by az-Zubaidi and translated by Dr. Muhammad Muhsin Khan, removes the repetitions and long chains of narrators while keeping the core text of the hadith. It follows Bukhari's chapter order: revelation, belief, knowledge, purification, prayer, zakah, fasting, hajj, trade, marriage, food, medicine, manners, the stories of the prophets, the seerah, tafsir and much more.

The Arabic and English are presented side by side in a single large volume.
