About this book

Men Around the Messenger by the Egyptian writer Khalid Muhammad Khalid is a collection of portraits of sixty Companions of the Prophet ﷺ.

Each chapter tells the story of one Companion — how he came to Islam, what he sacrificed, the qualities that marked him and the role he played. Among them are Mus'ab ibn 'Umayr, Bilal, Salman al-Farisi, Abu Dharr, Khalid ibn al-Walid, Sa'd ibn Abi Waqqas and many others. The writing is vivid and emotional, aimed at inspiring the reader.

Because each chapter stands alone, the book is perfect for reading a little at a time.
